This meeting was arranged by an unknown party to discuss the the registration of Longview Gardens in the city’s Neighborhood Registry.

Dear residents of Longview Gardens Historic District
“As part of my participation in the City of Raleigh’s Neighborhood College* in the spring/summer of 2018
I elected to register our neighborhood in the City’s Neighborhood Registry as my final project, so that we can receive the benefits to which registered neighborhood groups are entitled.
The purpose of this letter is to:
– explain the resources to which we now have access,
– in hopes that we can complete two additional requirements in the next 6 months and
– gather those who would like to explore this way to be more involved in our neighborhood!
What does this mean for me?
This group is NOT an HOA or neighborhood association- there is nothing you need to do to “join” and you are not required to participate in any activities (no fees!). To be listed in the City’s registry, a neighborhood organization must**:
